About Inner Path Psychotherapy

Welcome to Inner Path Psychotherapy!  We are a group practice specializing in the treatment of anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and trauma. These problems in living can significantly impact our relationships, careers, and ability to love and play as freely as we would like. If you have experienced these difficulties, you have probably employed all kinds of methods to deal with, distract from, and control these problems. Some strategies have likely worked, but many solutions often create more problems or offer temporary relief at best. If you are struggling it takes courage to seek support. If you choose to work with Inner Path Psychotherapy we will work collaboratively to cultivate self-awareness and skills for you to live a more rewarding life.

As the name Inner Path suggests, we believe that looking inside oneself has great value and can provide guidance. Carl Jung, an influential psychologist once said, “he who looks outside dreams, he who looks inside awakes”. His words suggest that understanding one’s thoughts, feelings and intentions are critical for creating direction towards an authentic life. Without a clear understanding of your inner world, it can be harder to navigate the ups and downs we encounter.

Research studies reveal that the therapeutic relationship, rather than specific techniques or approaches, creates the most benefit in therapy. This suggests that finding a therapist with whom you feel connected can make a tremendous difference in your growth. In addition, your therapist’s expertise and experience greatly matter. If you are searching for well-trained, effective, perceptive, culturally sensitive, and compassionate therapists, Inner Path Psychotherapy would be a great fit!

We appreciate you wanting to learn more about the practice and look forward to collaborating with you on your inner path.
