I am a clinical psychologist devoted to helping adults and couples find greater satisfaction in life and love. With over fifteen years of private practice experience, I have worked with women and men to overcome a host of issues ranging from anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, work-related stressors, reproductive issues, postpartum mood disorders, family of origin issues, relational and marital stress, as well as difficulties adjusting to life transitions (i.e., death/sickness of a parent, divorce, job loss, retirement, etc.).
I am a compassionate, perceptive and caring therapist who understands the importance of addressing current problems in order to provide relief to my clients. In our work together we will also explore how your relationships in childhood shape current challenges and create patterns. This understanding of how past and present experiences impact each other often results in long-term change that is well worth the time and work involved in therapy. With couples, I focus on Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy to reinforce feeling secure, loved and more deeply understood by your person.
I also appreciate and value the trust my clients have in our relationship as well as the courage to share their experiences with me.
